Capital Area Family Justice Center is committed to facilitating the development and implementation of a comprehensive domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and stalking response system
The collaboration will be the foundation for best practice development and delivery for all the survivors and families served at the Capital Area Family Justice Center. The comprehensive violence response system organizes public and private community services and resources into a comprehensive and interconnected network to assure that the needs of survivors are met.
Guided by the Center’s mission, vision and service pledge, the response system effectively unifies the efforts of those who assist survivors, reduces duplication of effort, and helps create a service-delivery system that meets the needs of survivors and their children. Capital Area Family Justice Center has been working on the response system along with key community partners such as criminal justice, law enforcement, social services, the courts and public health to build collaborative structures that support best practice for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
